Bass Violin Shop will be closed to the public on Tuesdays, beginning Feb. 4
A solid old 3/4 size Bohemian bass ca. 1880, with tight grain spruce top, maple roundback, flamed maple ribs, and flamed maple neck/scroll. This bass contains recent restoration work as well as modern geometry and modern varnish. It carries ebony fittings, an adjustable maple bridge, and a chromatic C-extension. This is a terrific do-it-all bass of very comfortable proportions, and an open, complex sound!
