Epiphone B-5, ca. 1946
A vintage Epiphone B-5 model, made in New York ca. 1946. This bass features laminate construction with a spruce top veneer, flamed maple rib/back veneers, inlaid purfling, and the original sunburst finish. It carries the original rosewood fingerboard, engraved Kluson tuning machines, and Epiphone tailpiece/badge. Recent work was completed by James Condino, including a scoll graft and set-up. Another very cool piece of American musical history with some serious mojo!
