A carved 7/8 size bass made in Germany ca. 1900. A well-made instrument, with spruce top, figured maple roundback, ribs, and neck/scroll. The instrument was refinished at a later date. This bass has a very mature sound and would be equally at home in a jazz band or in an orchestra section. Consignment.
