Bob Swanson, Pittsburgh ca. 1960s

A rare opportunity to own a unique Bob Swanson double bass. Seemingly, there are no two that are alike and were built by Swanson in Pittsburgh, PA. This bass was played for many years in several professional orchestras around the country, and has a huge sound! Constructed in a quasi-laminate style, with a factory neck and low B extension. The pictures don’t do it justice – come see for yourself! Consignment.
